The Sequoia was designed to honor our roots in California's Sierra Nevada mountains.
Its progressive sidecut, strong flex pattern, perfected width, and carefully selected materials allow for the board to plane over deep powder, ride powerfully, and cut through pesky crusts to the point that you won't even know it was there.
The shorter tail works hand in hand with the side cut to be nimble yet stable, rolling rail to rail effortlessly leaving behind a beautiful arc that you'll be proud to look at.

Much like California's native Giant Sequoia's have evolved to withstand the test of time and the elements, the Sequoia will be there for you at every turn, air, and step you put it through.
Length - The length measured from the tip of the snowboard to the tail. This is a very traditional way to know what to expect from a snowboard but it doesn’t tell the whole story.
Nose Width - The width measured at the widest point of the nose of your snowboard. This is also typically the widest part of the board. Knowing how wide the nose of your board is will give you some clues as to how much float you can expect from your board, and how it might feel rolling edge to edge.
Waist Width - This measurement typically tells you the width of the narrowest part of the board. This is usually found in between the bindings in the deepest part of the sidecut depending on how much taper the board has.
Effective Edge - When you put your board up on rail there will be two points making contact with the snow, one towards the nose and one towards the tail. Effective edge measures the length of the rail making contact with the snow. Generally, the more effective edge you have the greater edge hold you will have.
Taper - This is the difference between the nose width and the tail width. Boards with more taper will usually have a looser ride feel (less grabbiness, more tail sink in powder, also more likely to wash out on firm)
Sidecut Radius - In its simplest form, the bigger the side cut the bigger the turn it’s designed to make. Rider inputs can make pretty much any snowboard do anything they want, that being said shorter (smaller) side cuts lend themselves to tighter turns and longer (bigger) sidecuts lend themselves to more drawn out turns.
Rear Underfoot Width - The width of the snowboard under the rear inserts on the board. Use this measurement to make sure you won’t get toe/heel drag with your setup.
Front Underfoot Width - The width of the snowboard under the front inserts on the board. Use this measurement to make sure you won’t get toe/heel drag with your setup.
Rider Weight - Your weight with all of your anticipated gear on. Rule of thumb for resort riding, your naked body weight plus 10 pounds. For splitboarding, add 25 pounds.
